BREAKING: Dapchi Leah Sharibu reportedly speaks from Boko Haram captivity, begs Buhari to save her (audio)

According to information reaching us now, it was reported that the only Dapchi schoolgirl still in Boko Haram captivity has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to rescue her.

Leah Sharibu, who was held back by the insurgents when her schoolmates were released, was said to have appealed that her family members be assisted. Sharibu has been in Boko Haram captivity for seven months. Leah Sharibu has reportedly called on President Muhammadu Buhari to rescue her from Boko Haram captivity.

Sharibu is the only Christian among the abducted 119 students of Government Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe state. The Cable reports that it exclusively obtained Sharibu's latest picture as well as the audio of her plea to Buhari.

She reportedly said in the audio: “I am Leah Sharibu, the girl that was abducted in GGSS Dapchi. I am calling on the government and people of goodwill to intervene to get me out of my current situation.

“I also plead to the members of the public to help my mother, my father, my younger brother and relatives. Kindly help me out of my predicament. I am begging you to treat me with compassion, I am calling on the government, particularly, the president to pity me and get me out of this serious situation. Thank you.”
