FIFA President meets US President Trump

FIFA President Gianni Infantino was invited to the White House and met on Tuesday with the President of the United States Donald Trump.

After the successful meeting at the White House, Infantino said "It was an excellent meeting with focus on the organisation and preparations for 2026 which the USA will co-host with Canada and Mexico.

I would like to thank President Trump for his government’s full commitment and support. I am very much looking forward to continue the cooperation with the US authorities. I am convinced that the three organising countries will deliver the greatest World Cup in eight years time," said the FIFA President after the meeting.

USA will co-host 2026 World Cup with Canada and Mexico.

Femi Falana gets information on N4.6b fuel drained daily from FG

The federal government has forwarded to Lagos lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) information on fuel importation and sundry matters. The requested information was forwarded to the lawyer by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) which was acting on the directive of the Minister of state, Petroleum Resources, Dr Ibe Kachukwu as requested in his letter to the minister dated April 17, 2018.
