''I have all it takes to compete with Buhari in the presidential election'' - Governor Tambuwal

Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has reacted to claims made by the National leader of APC, Bola Tinubu, that he defected from the ruling APC to PDP, because he could not muster the courage to contest against president Buhari for the APC presidential ticket.

Tinubu in a statement released yesterday August 19th, said Tambuwal's defection on August 1st was primarily so he can pursue his presidential ambition which he cannot achieve on the platform of APC.



Reacting via his twitter handle this morning, Governor Tambuwal said he could contest for the presidency on the platform of APC as he has what it takes to compete with President Buhari.

    “If I wanted to and if the Presidency is what (why) Ahmed Tinubu thinks I defected, I could contest with President Buhari under the APC. I have what it takes to have contested with Mr. President.” one of his tweets reads

Mysterious illness breaks out at Eregi Girls School in Kenya as more than 90 students struggle to walk At least 95 students from Eregi Girls Secondary School in Kenya have been hospitalised at various hospitals following an outbreak of a mysterious illness in the school.
