BREAKING: David Mark Declares Presidency Intention, Picks PDP Presidential Forms, Vows To Fix Nigeria Within Two Years (Photos)

David Mark, former Senate President, has formally obtained his nomination and expression of Interest forms, with a vow to fix the myriads of problems facing the country in two years.

The former Senate President picked the presidential nomination form of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the party’s secretariat in Abuja on Tuesday.
Mr Mark, a serving senator, will be the fourth of his Senate colleagues to declare to run for the presidency.

He disclosed his intention if giving the opportunity to become the country's president to the newsmen at the PDP secretariat in his word.

"I have come to collect the forms for presidential nomination. You can comfortably say that PDP is the choice; it is the choice party in the country. Obviously, anybody who has come here to collect the form has a blueprint and I, along with very young boys and girls or men and women, have a blueprint,” Mark said. “The blueprint, which we titled '730', represents just two years — two years if given the opportunity to turn the economy of this country round. We will solve the insecurity problems, we will bring Nigerians together."

Mr Mark joins a list of over a dozen aspirants to declare under the PDP platform for the number 1 seat.

PDP has already scheduled its presidential primary poll for early next month and David Mark is expected to slug it out with other major PDP aspirants like former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; Governors Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto and Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe; ex-governors Sule Lamido, Attahiru Bafarawa and Messrs Kwankwaso, Jang and Saraki.

NaijGossp also asked who is more fit to contest against Buhari from the numerous presidential aspirants from PDP.
