The feud between Drake and Pusha-T started with a subtle shot Pusha took at Drake on the final track of his recently-released album Daytona, which prompted a swift response from Drake with the diss track ‘Duppy Freestyle.

Pusha’s subsequent retort to Drake The Story Of Adidon set the music world alight, with many people considering Pusha the winner of the beef through the content of the track alone – as well as the controversial artwork, which used an old photo of Drake in blackface.

Speaking about the feud, Drake said on The Shop that he recorded a diss track responding to The Story of Adidon saying that he said terrible things in it. He added: I listened back to it and I was like, Man, this is not something I ever want to be remembered for. This is not even a place I necessarily want to go.

Drake also praised Pusha-T for releasing the track: The song, I thought was trash, but it was a hell of a chess move
