Man who raped a 13 years Old boy, in his front yard is allowed to walk free

A man who was accused of raping a young boy in his front garden has been allowed to walk free.

Moud Ul Hasan Nuri, 40, allegedly attacked and raped the 13-year-old boy outside the teenager’s family home in Blacktown, Sydney on Friday. The pair are said to have met through dating app Grindr and exchanged photos before the youngster deleted the app and stopped responding to Nuri.

Angered by this, Nuri allegedly then drove to the boy’s house on Friday, September 28 and sexually assaulted him in the front garden around 6.45pm.

Nuri, an app developer, only stopped the alleged rape when the boy’s mother ran to stop him and called police. The boy was rushed to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead for examination and following an investigation by the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad, Nuri was arrested at his home on Sunday and taken to Riverstone Police Station for questioning.

He was charged with sexual intercourse without consent and initially refused bail. But following a bail hearing on Monday, he was allowed to walk free.

Under his bail conditions, Nuri must report to police every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. He is also banned from going within 500 metres of the boy’s home and from contacting the victim or any witness and has his passport removed.

He is due to appear before Blacktown Local Court on December 13.
