Joshua vs Povetkin: Anthony Joshua feeling 'tons of pressure' ahead of Alexander Povetkin fight

Anthony Joshua says he will simply "roll with the punches" when the first bell rings for his world title fight with Alexander Povetkin at Wembley. The unified heavyweight champion acknowledged the huge expectation on his shoulders ahead of Saturday's fight with Povetkin, in front of a crowd of up to 90,000 at the national stadium, live on Sky Sports Box Office. A fellow Olympic gold medallist, Povetkin is a former world champion with a daunting record of knockout wins, but Joshua tried to make light of his imposing Russian opponent, insisting he will emerge with a 22nd victory. "There's loads of pressure, tons of pressure, it's the reality," said Joshua. "We both know what we are in for, it's the same with every fight. "Roll with the punches, what more can I do than give my best. I'll go out there and find a way to win. "I know I have a lot of fire in my belly, that's just as important as skills."

Osun 2018 (Breaking News): 48 Governorship Aspirants, INEC distributing election materials

After critical looks into debate, counter claims, campaigns by political parties in Osun state, it seems saturday’s governorship election in Osun state will be unique not because it goes into history as the first to be contested by 48 candidates but for the fact that unlike most two-way horse race, there are four strong candidates. Political pundits say any of these four individuals could emerge as the successor of Rauf Aregbesola, the incumbent governor. There are 1,682,495 registered voters in the state which has 322 wards and 30 local government areas. The major contenders have supporters across board and have strength and weaknesses in these areas. The party fielding the candidates are also testing their popularity ahead of the next general election. For the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), it is another opportunity to purify the remaining blemishes in the electoral process and get it right before 2019. UEFA CL: Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Old Trafford return if..............

Cristiano Ronaldo suffered the first Champions League red card of his career for Juventus but which games will he be suspended for? Could he miss a return to Old Trafford? The Portugal forward appeared to pull Valencia defender Jeison Murillo's hair - and was shown a straight red card - although Juventus went on to win 2-0 without him on Wednesday. Uefa has opened disciplinary proceedings against Ronaldo and European football's governing body will deal with the case on 27 September. Unlike the Premier League's automatic three-game ban for violent conduct, Uefa's punishments are on a case-by-case basis. A one-game ban is automatic - with no right of appeal - but Uefa regulation 50.01 for the competition says that "in case of serious offences, the Uefa control, ethics and disciplinary body is entitled to augment this punishment". Ronaldo, 33, will definitely miss their next Champions League game against Young Boys on 2 October - but a tw

Algeria Football: Give me £6,500, get a free penalty - how corruption eats at the heart of Algerian football

Algeria has a legitimate claim to be called a football-mad country. But it is not all about passion, culture and history. Another kind of madness is eating at the heart of its football. "It is easy for everyone to fix matches and arrange results", a match-fixer told the BBC. "You just have to understand the process and the tricks." According to him, and to multiple sources - intermediaries, past and current players, referees and football executives, initiators and victims of bribery and corruption - who were approached by BBC undercover operatives in the course of a three-year investigation, systematic, systemic corruption has been allowed to go unchecked at every level in the Algerian game. As one of Algeria's former senior football executives put it, in his country, football is 'not just a game'. A former senior Fifa executive went further and told us: "Algerian football may have already passed the tipping point". According
