Bayern Munich ace Thiago Alcantara reportedly wants to join Liverpool this summer.
The 29-year-old has held talks with Bayern Munich over a new contract with his current deal due to expire in 2021.
Both parties appeared close to reaching an agreement until the attacking midfielder had second thoughts about penning a new contract.

Reports in Germany now claim the player is eyeing a sensational switch to Liverpool, per Sport Bild who add that the club value him around £43 million.
It’s believed Bayern Munich discussed Liverpool’s interest during talks with the Spanish international keen on a switch to the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp spoke glowingly about Thiago after Liverpool played Bayern Munich in the Champions League last season.
“I’ve probably never seen them defend like that,” he said.
“Respect to them as they made it difficult for us, although we had good situations where we missed the last touch.
“Thiago is a world-class footballer. He played that deep-lying play-maker role very well. Alongside [Javi] Martinez, they were very good.”
Liverpool are looking to bolster their squad when the transfer window reopens.
But the club have already lost out on one of their transfer targets in the shape of Timo Werner, who’ll join Chelsea ahead of the 2020/21 season.
