A 12-days old baby devoured by a dog, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he died while on admission.

A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after a dog mauled a newly born baby to death.
The only 12-days old baby suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he died while on admission. Throwing more light on the matter, an eyewitness told reporters that ‘I drove by as the police were removing the dog. It was a big fluffy golden thing. It didn’t look like a dangerous breed. But the police were struggling to get into the dog van. It was strong enough to be dragging three officers into the road’

The dog has been removed from the house while the two owners charged for gross negligence following the infant’s death, they have been given bail pending further inquiries.

Witnesses explain that the dog was so strong it dragged three police officers into the road after they rushed to the scene.
The mother was reportedly ‘in pieces’ as she was comforted by shocked neighbors, who have left floral tributes outside their home.
