The headquarters of the Nigerian Ports Authority in Lagos was one of the main targets of the attack.

Like other government agencies, there were security officers stationed at the agency in the Marina area, but they could not control the situation.

There are no details on how the NPA was set on fire, but a video posted by AIT Nigeria on its Twitter account shows the building on fire.

Burnt cars and other valuables were seen in a video circulating on social media.

The Palace of Oba of Lagos

Reports say some suspected thugs attacked the residence of His Highness Oba in Lagos and seized his staff of office.

Sources said the thugs stormed the palace despite a large contingent of troops stationed to protect the palace.

Pictures circulating on social media showed the attackers holding the staff walking angrily. Reports said they wanted to set fire to the whole palace before the soldiers halted them.

His Majesty the King of Lagos is highly esteemed by the people of Lagos, so the attack on his palace took many by surprise, as he was not a government official.

TVC Headquarters In Lagos

Morayo Afolabi Brown’s early morning show ‘Your View‘ was live on TV Continental (TVC) when the premises of the news platform was attacked by hoodlums.

Videos posted on social media show cars in the being set on fire, later in the whole studio was razed to the ground.

Reports suggest that the station is owned by former Lagos governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, although he has not explicitly come out to say that he is the real owner of the station.

The House of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s Mother

The home of Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s mother was one of the places set on fire by protesters, as you can see in the picture above.

The house is located in Akerele area of ​​Sulurele, but it is not clear if the governor’s mother was inside at the time of the incident.

The house was engulfed in flames after gunmen set it on fire.

Oyingbo bus station

The Oyingbo bus station in Lagos also did not survive, as several commuter buses were set on fire.

Newspapers in Nigeria have reported that at least 20 buses have been set on fire as a result of the incident.

People were seen fleeing the bus station for their lives, while the attackers chased them away.

Oriental Hotel

Like TVC, the Oriental Hotel, which is famous for its hospitality in Lagos State, is rumoured to be owned by former Lagos State Governor Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu.

Reports say hoodlums visited the Oriental Hotel on Wednesday destroying some things.

Police Stations

Reports from the Nigerian media say that at least 12 police stations have been attacked, several have been set on fire. Among the burnt ones is the Iganmu police station.

A spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command confirmed that thugs set fire to their office in Iganmu.

He said the incident took place around 10 am on Tuesday, injuring several of its officers and killing one.

The force said it was aware that some miscreants seeking to hide under the guise of the EndSARS protests were causing unrest in the state.

Igbosere High Court

Suspected miscreants stormed the Igbosere High Court in Lagos on Wednesday and stole computers, air conditioners and other items.

A video that has spread like wildfire showing one of the thugs wearing a judge’s uniform, carrying machetes in his hand.

After stealing what they wanted, they set fire to the court and fled.

FRSC, VIO offices set ablaze at Ojodu, Lagos

On Wednesday, vandals stormed the offices of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and the Vehicle Inspection Officers in Ojodu, Lagos, setting it on fire.

Witnesses said several cars were set on fire at the scene.

One of the eyewitnesses, identified simply as Ola, said, “Over 30 vehicles have been burnt. Many cars that were seized are also affected. The entire building is on fire.”
