Nigerian Woman Recounts How “NEPA” Took Light When She Was Undergoing Surgery

A beautiful Nigerian woman has taken to social media to recount how “NEPA” took light while she was undergoing surgery in a private hospital in Umuahia.

The lady who identified as Blessing Nwobodo, in a long thread on Facebook revealed that they had found a lump in her breast and was advised to remove it even though it wasn’t cancerous.

According to Blessing, the government clinic in Abia state was on strike so she went to a private hospital in Umuahia. She added that during surgery, while she was on local anaesthesia and was conscious. Halfway through the surgery, “NEPA took light”. She said the doctor doing the surgery ran out of the theatre asking her aunt to call someone named Ifeanyi to put on the generator. unfortunately no fuel. A nurse came in with a torchlight which the doctor used for the surgery until the light was restored.
