A 78-year-old man has narrated his unfortunate and unforgettable experience with a group of thieves who invaded his house and robbed him of his car and household items.
Mzee Job Sigilai said the robbers entered his compound at about 3am at night and instead of rebuffing them, he welcomed them without resistance.
“They came in at about 3am with very bright spotlights and on entering the house, they identified themselves as robbers and I welcomed them.
I told them I wanted to pray for them and they accepted..so I prayed for them to overcome the challenges they were facing in life,” the septuagenarian explained.
Sigilai said his family members stayed with the robbers for about one hour where he preached to them and prayed that they got better opportunities in life, The Standard reports.
However, despite his effort to make them change their ways, the thieves stole his vehicle and household items such as rice, sugar, bedsheets, gas cooker, a radio and other stuffs.
