A woman, baby as well as many others have been burnt after a fire outbreak at the Nembe Waterfront, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Report say the blaze started about 9am, razing down an entire building, and many shops before it was put out by the state fire service and some youths.
Although little is known of what actually caused the fire outbreak eyewitness say the victims were rushed to the Rivers state University Teaching Hospital for medical attention.
The witness explained that many youths, who initially tackled the fire before the arrival of the firefighters, suffered various degrees of burns.

No causalities were recorded but properties worth millions were destroyed.

The sad incident is said to have happened along Ibrahim Taiwo Road, in IIorin, the state capital ,which involved motorcycle truck and a Toyota Jeep.
A friend of the groom was also crushed where he died on the spot.

An eye witness says, the guest and the groom were on a motorcycle when an SUV hit them from behind into the path of the truck which crushed the passenger, killing him instantly, while the two legs of the rider, who is the groom, were also crushed.
The eyewitness said the injured man who got married on Saturday, October 10, and was transporting the guest to a motor park at Wahab Folawiyo Road to board a vehicle to Lagos when the tragedy occurred.
“The young man came from Lagos to attend a wedding in Ilorin. The groom, who is a commercial motorcyclist, decided to take him to the park before and the accident occurred on the way.” said the witness.
