Three men have received lengthy jail sentences for having s3x with nine horses, a cow, a goat and an unknown number of dogs over a period of five years.
Matthew Brubaker, 31, Terry Wallace, 41, and Marc Measnikoff, 34, were caught after a teenager they forced to restrain the animals went to police in Munson, Pennsylvania.
Judge Paul E Cherry described the case as “one of the most disgusting, despicable courses of conduct I’ve ever seen”.
The three men abused the animals in a specially-made pen and police searching the property found a “large volume of homemade videos, recording equipment and cameras”.
District Attorney William Shaw Jr said the videos the men made of their illegal acts had “burned my corneas and will live with me the rest of my life”.
Brubaker admitted having s3x with the horses, a goat, a cow and his own dog.
Measnikof said he had s3x with the horses but not the dogs.
They were charged with 730 misdemeanour counts of s3x with animals, and 730 summary counts of cruelty to an animal, and one of endangering the welfare of children.
Wallace’s lawyer, Chris Pentz, said during the trial: “There is no question this case has an ‘Ewww’ factor”. He then stated if the men had killed 730 animals that it would not be a crime.
Each man was sentenced to between 20 and 41 years in prison.
Defence lawyers argued the sentences were excessive as none had previous criminal records.
