Prophet In Police Custody For Stealing “Manhood” For Rituals

It was later gathered that one Prophet Uhembe and the church’s President, Noah Saka are the brain behind the stealing of manhood of seven men in Daudu.

Some angry youths have set ablaze the Divine Shadow Church, belonging to one Prophet Joshua Uhembe accused of being the mastermind behind the alleged disappearance of genitals in Daudu Town, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.

This comes days after youths in the community staged a protest over missing manhood

It was later gathered that one Prophet Uhembe and the church’s President, Noah Saka are the brain behind the stealing of manhood of seven men in Daudu.

According to reports  some social media uses,  Prophet Uhembe refused to attend a meeting held by leaders of the community but his President, Saka did and allegedly confessed to the crime.

He  was immediately grabbed and handed over to the police.

 It was learnt that the youths got angry over the prophet’s refusal to attend the meeting so they set his church ablaze.

 In other news, The head of Komaki Village in the Muchinga province has reportedly been beaten to death by one of his subjects Over Carterpillers.

According to the Muchinga Province Police Commissioner, Joel Njase  the deceased, Lewis Kangwa, aged 52, was coming from the Chief’s palace, when he met woman, named Rachael Maka, who was in possession of caterpillars.

Commissioner Joel explained that the deceased then allegedly queried about the caterpillars from the woman, who however called her brother and an argument begun.

The suspect who is currently at large is said to have grabbed the Headman by the neck and started beating him until he died.

In other news, there has been a schoolyard killing which has taken at least 54 people’s lives in western Ethiopia. It was reported that the attack targeted an ethnic minority and was carried out by a rebel group that gathered the elderly, women, and children to a meeting before opening fire. The rights organization added that federal soldiers had left the area hours before attackers moved in and gunned down ethnic Amharas. Survivors say they have 54 counted bodies in the schoolyard in the far western part of Oromia, and that it is the latest attack on ethnic minorities in the country. 

Amhara region’s affiliated broadcaster, Amhara Mass Media Agency, quoted one survivor as saying the armed group had gathered 200 people for a meeting around 5 pm and then started shooting at them. They claimed a school and 120 houses had also been burned.
