Trippier was handed a ten-week ban after it was revealed that he breached the FA betting rules prior to his move to Atleti from Tottenham Hotspur.
The chats shared reveal that the former Burnley defender kept his friends up to speed with developments regarding his imminent transfer to Spain via a series of WhatsApp messages.
The defender had claimed that the messages were part of his banter something the FA Commission dismissed where they found him guilty of four out of seven different charges.
