The majority leader of the Imo state house of assembly, Uche Ogbuagu has been impeached.

The popular comedian who represents the Ikeduru state constituency was impeached on Thursday, March 4.
This came months after he defected to the All Progressives Congress from People’s Democratic Party following the removal of Emeka Ihedioha as Governor of Imo state by the Supreme court.
Ogbuagu was removed by majority vote under tight security, amid a cold war with the house’s deputy speaker, Amarachi Iwuanyanwu.
