Ada Jesus whose real name is Mercy Mmesoma Obi is a Nigerian social media comedienne. She was born on 19th February, 1999 in Orlu, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria and died on 21 April 2021 in Abuja at the age of 22 years old. Ada Jesus was diagnosed with a kidney disease, after which she was strike with stroke. She later died of cardiac arrest in a hospital in Abuja. Before her death, she has two beautiful daughters from her baby daddy Kingsley Chuks.

Ada Jesus is a graduate of Imo State University Owerri. Prior to becoming a comedienne, Ada Jesus worked as a housekeeper to a retired pilot where she was paid N30,000 monthly. In 2018, she ventured into comedy. She was initially a standup comedienne and performed at various events and shows.

However, with the advent of social media comedy, Ada Jesus started shooting comedy videos which she shared on her Instagram and Facebook pages. Ada Jesus have gained thousands of fans on her Instagram and Facebook page since she started shooting comedy.

She is popular for shooting her comedy in her local dialect which is Igbo language and a little blend of English language. Ada Jesus have collaborated alongside popular Nigerian comedians like Chief Imo, Odira Nwobu, Skibo, Sir One, Kinemaster and many others.

In February 2021, Ada Jesus was reported to be hospitalized for having kidney problem. According to a post by Ella Ada who claimed to be a friend of Ada Jesus, she posted that Ada Jesus was hospitalized.

Ada Jesus is a single mother. She was dating Kingsley Chuks who is currently the father of her two lovely daughters. On 21st April, 2021, Ada Jesus died after battling with kidney disease. She was 22 years Old. According to reliable sources, she died of kidney disease, stroke and cardiac arrest.
