Unknown gunmen shoot dead former Enugu State High Court judge after ordering him out of his SUV in Enugu (video)

The video shows the armed gunmen pulling the man who has been identified as the former Enugu State High Court judge, Justice Stanley Nnaji, from his SUV and then shooting him dead

The former Enugu State High Court judge was shot multiple times beside the Enugu Diagnostics Centre, by Ebeano Tunnel, after he was dragged out of his Mercedes Benz Jeep. The shooters then drove off in Nnaji’s car.

The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu, psc, has ordered the launch of a full-scale manhunt of yet-to-be-identified armed assailants alleged to have trailed and shot dead Justice Stanley Nnaji driving in a Mercedes Benz Jeep, which they carted away, along Ebeano Tunnel, Enugu on Sunday, May 30, at about 5 pm.

A statement by the spokesperson of the Enugu State Police Command, Daniel Ndukwe, stated that the victim was rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead by doctors on duty and deposited in the mortuary for autopsy.

Ndukwe said the state Commissioner of police has vowed that no stone would be left unturned in fishing out perpetrators of the heinous crime. The police boss has also called on residents of the State to remain law-abiding, vigilant and assist the Police with useful information that will lead to the arrest and prosecution of the assailants.
