Imeh Bishop, the comic Nigerian actor, popularly known as Okon Lagos, on Saturday announced his mother’s death.

The Nollywood star took to Instagram to break the sad news, as he expressed numbness concerning the news.


He wrote, “You could have just waited just a bit. I am depleted and numb. It’s my own mother. I’ve lost her.”


At the news, colleagues and fans of the actor took to his comment session to sympathise with him over his loss.


Actress and Comedienne, Helen Paul, wrote, “Sorry bros. Please try and stay strong. Accept my sincere condolences.”


Another actress, Rita Dominic, said, “So sorry dear.”


“Very sad. Please take heart and God’s strength,” veteran actress Patience Ozokwor said. 


Other celebrities that condoled with the actor include Funke Akindele-Bello, Mike Ezuruonye, Destiny Etiko, MC Shakara, etc.
