There was confusion galore between two families when they engaged in a nasty brawl at the cemetery during the burial of a lady.
The central theme of the fight was that the family of the deceased claimed it’s against their traditions for her to be buried in her husband’s homestead since he had not paid the dowry.
And since both families failed to reach an agreement on this subject minutes before the final funeral rites, they had a nasty fight- with one of the scenes captured on the coffin.
‘’Nonpayment of dowry is serious,’’ a Twitter user posted and shared the video.
According to another social media user, in Luyha land, a wife is not buried in her husband’s homestead if he has not paid the dowry.
