The officials, as per the Lagos Police Command flipped through individuals telephones dishonestly.
One of the officials was distinguished as Opeyemi Kadiri, with force number 509745
A Twitter client, Chinedu had taken to his timeline to share a video of the police officers bothering one of his companions.
“My friend was badgering by the police today while he was on his way for a photograph shoot,” he inscribed the video.
Making sense of how the episode occurred, the voice of a man thought to be the person in question, was heard saying: “Thus, I was going for a task, this police officer halted me, gathered my telephone and was looking through me. Yet, the Inspector-General of police said on Twitter that you shouldn’t look through my telephone. For what reason would you say you are looking through my telephone?”
Talking regarding this situation, the Lagos Police Command said the officials looked through the telephones assuming some pretense of completing a stop and search.
Disappointed with the cops’ lead, Lagos Police Commissioner Abiodun Alabi requested the prompt capture of the officials, as he promised not to endure provocation by his men.
Sharing a report with regards to this issue, the Police Spokesperson in Lagos, Benjamin Hundeyin said the officials would be examined and arraigned.
“The official who looked through the non military personnel’s telephone has been given over to the executive for disciplinary activity, forthcoming their exchange to Force Headquarters, Abuja, for additional disciplinary measures.
“The video obviously shows attack with respect to the official and it was laid out that there was no blackmail, nor was there any capture or detainment,” Hundeyin added.
Before this turn of events, the Lagos police representative certified that no official has the privilege to look through the telephones having a place with individuals from people in general.
As per Hundeyin, any official that takes part in such isn’t a police officer, however a forager.
