Ghanaian fans took to cleaning the Al Janoub Stadium following the Black Stars’ heartbreaking defeat in their final group game to Uruguay.

Ghanaian fans defied the heartbreak of getting knockout of the FIFA World Cup as they cleaned the stadium in the aftermath of their defeat to Uruguay.

The Black Stars who needed a win or just a draw to progress to the round of 16, suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Uruguayans with captain, Jordan Ayew missing a penalty in the game.

Fans of Ghana were however not too disappointed with the result as some of them were seen taking out disposable rubbish bags soon after the game as they cleaned the Al Janoub Stadium.

The Ghanaian supporters join the likes of Japan who have been known to clean up after their matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
