Queen Tobi mentioned that Ooni is not someone who would abuse a woman since he is calm, mature, and understands the importance of communication in marriage.

Queen Tobi Phillips, the third wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has stated that domestic violence is her deal-breaker in a relationship.

Speaking in a recent interview on TVC, the former World Miss University Africa (WMUA) maintained that she would not tolerate any form of abuse and would leave a marriage if her husband ever raised his hand at her.

She reiterated, however, that the Ooni is not someone who would abuse a woman since he is calm, mature, and understands the importance of communication in marriage.

Her words,

“My deal breaker is don’t ever lay your hands on me. If that happens it’s over. And he (Ooni of Ife) is not that kind of person. If you have a relationship where you can communicate and share your likes and dislikes and you respect each other. With that, you guys will not get to the point where you are clashing. Because when something is happening, you can easily call your husband and say, ‘i don’t like this’ and vice versa.”

This is coming after Queen Tobi took to social media to appreciate her husband for turning her dream into a reality.

She said she had always wanted sensational musician, Timi Dakolo, to perform his hit love song ‘Iyawo Mi’ at her wedding and her husband made it happen.

Reeling over the intentionality of her husband, Olori Tobi on Thursday, December 1, shared a loved-up video with her husband and clips from their wedding ceremony held recently.

She went on to shower praises and prayers on the Osun monarch as she wished her followers a happy new month.
