The group in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, on Wednesday, said the practice of not burying dead ones within three days had caused ‘moral decadence and all manner of evil’ in Igboland. The group said the only corpses that should be allowed to stay in the mortuary for more than the stipulated period were those under investigation or with court-related matters. The statement read, “The present habit of keeping dead bodies more than three days and even months and years in the mortuary has had dire effects on our land and contributed to the spiritual weakness of the Igbo Nation and of the entire Biafraland, moral decadence and all manner of evil that have taken root in our land. “Now that IPOB has come to realise that this alien practice of keeping the dead on land rather than com

Italian Man Becomes The First Person To Test Positive For Monkeypox, COVID And HIV At The Same Time

The very first known case of a person testing positive for monkeypox, Covid-19 and HIV at the same time has been reported by scientists. Earlier this year, a 36-year-old Italian male began to develop a series of symptoms — including fatigue, fever, and a sore throat — nine days after returning from a trip to Spain. The man, who has not been identified, spent five days in Spain from 16 to 20 June 2022 during which he admitted to having unprotected sex with men. On July 2, the man tested positive for Covid, according to a case study report published in the Journal of Infection. On the afternoon of the same day, a rash started to develop on his left arm. The little girl had become unwell and was vomiting while suffering from a stomach ache and a soaring fever the day earlier. Her concerned mother Mary Jane Mendoza took her to a paediatrician in the family’s hometown of Villa de Ramos in Mexico. The medic then urged Camila’s parents to take her to the Salinas de Hildalgo Community Hospital for further examinations. The three-year-old was treated for dehydration and prescribed paracetamol by doctors to help subside her symptoms. She was later allowed home befor
