Royal Family Releases Funeral Date For Queen Elizabeth II

On the morning of Monday, 19th September, the lying-in-state will end and the coffin will be taken in procession from the Palace of Westminster to Westminster Abbey, where the State Funeral Service will take place. Ojukwu varsity: Three female students found dead in hostel

The management of the Ojukwu varsity, while confirming the incident, said the death of the students came as a shock. Three students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Igbariam campus, Anambra State were on Saturday found dead in the hostel. A source identified the students as Obidiaso Chidera (200-level Political Science student), Mercy (200-level Pharmacy student), and Emmanuella (200-level Business Administration). Only Two Survive In Head-On Collision Accident while Others Burnt to Death in Ibarapa Oyo

Witnesses said the incident was as a result of collision which led to fire outbreak that consumed more than 20 persons. OVER 20 passengers were reportedly burnt to death while two others injured in a road accident at Lanlate, Maya junction in Ibarapa East Local Government area of Oyo State. The accident which involved a commercial bus and a Sienna car occured on Friday evening. Witnesses said the incident was as a result of collision which led to fire outbreak that consumed more than 20 persons. It was further gathered that only two passengers were survived while others were burnt beyond recognition. The Chairman of the Local Government area, Gbenga Obalowo who led a rescue team to the scene described it as pathetic and unfortunate.
