A CCTV footage making rounds online has captured moment a lady fought back after being robbed by a man on a bike. The man rode his motorbike towards the woman on the lonely road, got down and started attacking her. The lady, out of apprehension, yelled as she tried so hard to stop him from taking her bag. As the man tried leaving the scene, the lady jumped on the bike and continued fighting him till she overpowered him, with residents of the area also coming to her aid. Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed have stopped by at the residence of Sheikh Gumi in Kaduna state. Senior Counsel for Nnamdi Kanu and Lead Counsel for the Indigenous People of Biafra, Ifeanyi Ejiofor has revealed that Kanu’s legal team will be at the DSS Headquarters on Monday with the enrolled order of court and judgement of the Court of Appeal to secure his release. This comes 72 hours after Kanu was discharged and acquitted by the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal, but the federal government has yet to release him. While citing legal authorities, Ejiofor said the freedom of Nnamdi Kanu, which was his fundamental and constitutionally guaranteed right, could not be stayed. Should the government and its security agencies refuse to release Kanu, he said far-reaching extant legal remedies, including reporting Nigeria to international agencies, would be activated to ensure immediate compliance with the court order. Three passengers, including a pregnant woman and a girl, have been reportedly crushed to death by a female motorist in the Agege area of Lagos State. The accident happened on Iju-Ishaga Road around 4pm on Saturday, October 15, 2022, when the woman’s car hit a tricycle conveying the passengers inward Agege. According to Punch report, all the passengers including an elderly woman lost their lives while the tricycle rider sustained injuries and was rushed to a hospital. The National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffickingin Persons (NAPTIP) says it has secured a one-year jail term against a 42-year-old woman, Ogierarakhi Joyce Amemze, aka Mama Blossom, who specialised in human trafficking. The agency in a statement on Monday, October 17, 2022, said its Benin Zonal Command secured the conviction on October 13. The agency had arraigned Ogierarakhi, before the National Industrial Court, Benin city, Edo state for procurement for prostitution. The offence contravenes the various provisions of the Trafficking in Persons Prohibition Law Enforcement and Administration Act 2015. A scrap dealer, Lukman Aliyu, whose sons were abducted in Aseyori community, Alagbado area of Ilorin, Kwara State has started selling his properties to raise N8 million demanded as ransom by the kidnappers. The two children, Abdulkadir Lukman and Muhideen Lukman, were abducted by over six hoodlums who invaded his residence last Wednesday night. The kidnappers at first demanded a ransom of N20 million but after a series of negotiations, they told Lukman to bring N8 million or lose his two children. According to SaharaReporters, Lukman sold his car for N1,500,000 and also put his house up for sale to raise the rest of the money. “Lukman has sold his car for N1.5 million and was able to raise an additional N500,000 from his circle (family and friends) to make it N2 million now,” Alhaji Mustapha, a resident of the community told SaharaReporters. An Iranian boy has been born without a penis, though he has his scrotum intact, and surgeons are planning to give him a vagina instead. Due to his extraordinary defect, the boy urinates through his anus. The unidentified boy’s condition is medically called aphallia. It is so rare, it is thought to only occur in up to one in 30million births. Fewer than 100 cases have been documented in medical literature. Aphallia occurs when genitalia fails to develop normally in the womb during the first few months of pregnancy. Lord Casted had in a viral video, alleged that he was abandoned by Bobrisky even after contracting HIV from drawing a tattoo with his name. Reacting to the claim, the crossdresser accused Lord Casted of lying. Bobrisky who further insinuated that his former protege never uses condom during sex, also recalled how Lord Casted insulted him after helping him in the past.
