According to the statement issued by the Deputy Registrar/Head of Public Relations of the institution, Joe Ejiofor, the appointment remains until the appointment of a substantive rector.
The Chairman of the Governing Council, Yaba College of Technology, Lateef Fagbemi SAN, has approved the appointment of Uduak Inyang-Udoh as the acting rector of the institution effective from Monday, January 30, 2023.
He said that Inyang-Udoh, a Chief Lecturer in the Department of Quantity Surveying, was until this appointment, the Deputy Rector (Administration).
He added that other previous positions held by Inyang-Udoh were the Director, Yabatech Consult, Director, Academic Planning, Dean, School of Environmental Studies, and Head, of the Department of Quantity Surveying.

Christy Uba, the Acting Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has handed over.
He has handed over to the newly appointed substantive Director General, Major Gen S. Ibrahim.
The ceremony was held at the NYSC NDHQ, Yakubu Gowon House in, Maitama, Abuja on Monday.
Mrs Uba assumed the leadership of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), taking over from the former DG, Brig.-Gen. Muhammad Fadah who President Muhammadu Buhari sacked.
Uba is the Director of Information and Communications Technology and the most senior directorate of the Corps at the time of Fadah’s sack.

He has now been sworn in as the 22nd DG of the Scheme.
Fadah assumed duty as the 20th head on May 18, 2022, succeeding Maj.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim.
