Paris Saint-Germain forward, Lionel Messi has confirmed he will return to Barcelona in the future when he finishes his professional football career.

Messi, who left the Catalan club for PSG in the summer of 2021, described Barcelona as his home.
The 35-year-old is widely regarded as one of Barcelona’s greatest footballers of all time.
Speaking to Olé (via Albiceleste Talk), the Argentina World Cup winner said, “When I finish my career, I will return to live in Barcelona, it’s my home.”
Messi spent 17 years of his illustrious career from 2004 to 2021 in Barcelona.
The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner won several silverware with the Blaugrana, including the UEFA Champions League and La Liga, among others.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain forward, Lionel Messi has insisted he has no problem with Kylian Mbappe.

According to Messi, they have discussed the 2022 World Cup final together.
Mbappe’s hat-trick was not enough to stop Messi from winning the trophy for the first time in his career.
In an interview with Argentine outlet Ole, the 35-year-old revealed he has discussed the final with Mbappe
“Yes, we talked about the game, the celebrations, how people had lived in Argentina in those days that I had been on vacation.
“I was on the other side too, I had to lose a world final as well. I didn’t want to know anything that had to do with the World Cup at that time. But the truth is that there is no problem with Kylian, quite the opposite,” Messi said.
