Terrorists Kill Farmer, Abduct ECWA Pastor, Wife In Kaduna State

In what will come across as a really heartbreaking development, a 38-year-old farmer identified only as Mr. Namiji has been killed.

He was murdered by terrorists in Maro village, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

A community leader, Mr. Simon John, confirmed the incident.

He said the incident happened on Friday, February 10, 2023.

According to John, the bandits were riding on motorcycles, passing through a lonely part to their destination when the saw the farmer tilling and clearing his farmland and opened fire on him.

A pastor of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) identified as Nasamu and his wife have also been abducted by terrorists in the state.

A Facebook user, Istifanus Ma’aji Egoh, who confirmed the attack said the bandits also kidnapped one Mahmud Mudi and his two children in Maraban Kajuru on Wednesday.

The state government and the Kaduna State Police Command both have yet to react to the latest incident.

Many communities in Kaduna have been living at the mercy of terrorists and bandits, who have been killing, maiming and kidnapping residents with reckless abandon.
