Presidential Election Results Truly Alarming – Uche Jombo Cries Out Over Tinubu’s Victory

Veteran Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo has raised alarm over the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s decision to declare Bola Tinubu as winner of the 2023 presidential election despite massive rigging and electoral violence.

The actress expressed shock that despite video and picture evidence of alleged fraud and electoral malpractices across the country, the electoral umpire went on with the process.

There have been calls for the cancellation of the 2023 presidential election over an alleged wide range of rigging and suppression of the true will of the people by governors and politicians across the country.

However, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, in the early hours of Wednesday declared the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Tinubu, winner of the polls.

Yakubu said that Tinubu polled a total of 8,794,726 to defeat his closest rivals and candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP who scored 6,984, 520 and 6,101,533, respectively.

“When some people say ‘my vote doesn’t count ‘ this is what they mean. Truly alarming with videos and pictures in polling units across Nigeria we still got here,” tweeted.

“This shouldn’t discourage ANYONE. A New Nigeria is possible as we can clearly see.”

Tinubu was handed his Certificate of Return by the INEC on Wednesday.
