“I thought I was going to be Gift” – Bimbo Ademoye speaks on her role in ‘Gangs of lagos’

Popular Nollywood actress, Bimbo Ademoye has given her views on the recently released Nollywood film “Gangs of Lagos,” which she had a part in.

Since she had previously collaborated with the producer on the film “Sugar Rush,” which she thought to be a wonderful experience, she expressed her delight upon getting the screenplay for the movie.

As a result, she put off reading the screenplay since she thought the movie would be fantastic.

Bimbo Ademoye however, found out that she had been cast as Teni, a role she did not anticipate, after ultimately reading the screenplay.

Bimbo at first assumed she would portray Gift since she could so easily identify with that character. To be sure there was no error, she double-checked the cast members’ names.

She made a few more calls to verify the casting, but she was given the assurance that it was accurate.

The producers informed her that while fans would anticipate her in a part similar to Gift, they had chosen to cast her in a different one.

As a result, Ademoye accepted the challenge and gave Teni’s persona her best effort.
