Nicki Minaj, acclaimed rapper and songwriter has become embroiled in legal wrangling with a couture Los Angeles-based jewelers over allegations that she damaged custom-made items which they had loaned her for promotional appearances earlier this year.

According to TMZ outlets sources close to both parties have confirmed that Brett Alan Nelson (Nicki's stylist) signed an agreement with Roseark Jewelry Store agreeing to borrow some bespoke pieces of jewelry designed specifically for public appearances.

The deal made by Mr Brent includes making sure all loans were returned within one week and promise to compensate full financial value of any damage incurred during its handover. 


Roseark claims Brent never returned 66 different items of jewelry within deadline so they followed up on multiple requests asking repeatedly demanded their return. 


Upon receiving them back anyway several weeks later after some rounds asking Brent paid out delay compensation worth approximately $26k+/-. 


But in letter released yesterday she denied' "any evidence that any of the jewellery" was damaged by someone under her direction attention or control.

"Our client Nikki Minaj will defend herself against any accusation or insinuation to the contrary and fully anticipates being vindicated", said her New York-based attorney Jordan Siev. 


And Roseark are still pursuing the case with vigor, seeking full repayment and damages for breach of contract and loss caused because of it.
