Singer Mohbad's Family Members Accused of Trying to Gain Control of His Assets Following His Spouse's Bereavement (Video)

 In the wake of the untimely demise of Nigerian singer Mohbad, a controversy has emerged on social media, with accusations directed at some members of the deceased artist's family. The allegations suggest that they are attempting to take control of Mohbad's properties from his grieving 24-year-old widow.

They made the allegation while reacting to a video recorded from his graveyard in Ikorodu where he was buried. Some men could be heard saying his wife shouldn't come near his burial ground otherwise they would take over his property from them.  Some Nigerians took to social media to slam the men for plotting to take over his properties from the wife and their son.

A video of a woman who expressed anger over the place the singer was buried, made the rounds on social media. In the video, the woman who looked displeased said they brought his body to the place in Ikorodu, so that ‘’Mohbad's people would see what his wife had done. ‘’


‘’We are going buy another piece of land but let the world know what his wife has done despite how we shouted''


An X user mentioned that their grievance might be that he failed to build a house in Ikorodu despite having fame.
