In a disturbing incident, vigilant neighbors stepped in to rescue a 15-year-old boy who had been chained to his leg and confined in a squalid room by his aunt, with whom he shares a residence. The intervention of concerned community members played a crucial role in bringing an end to the distressing situation and ensuring the safety of the young boy.


In a viral video, the aunt claimed the boy went out and failed to return home. She also alleged that he steals her money. When asked who the boy is to her, she saud he is her older sister's child.


The neighbours who were visibly angry said they would have pounced on her if not that she is elderly.
