Senator Moro's Explanation for Leading the Motion to Relax Age Requirements for Employment

Senator Abba Moro, the representative for Benue South District, provided an explanation for his initiative to sponsor the motion. He emphasized that the motivation behind the motion was the substantial number of Nigerian youths and students experiencing job rejections due to age constraints. A 33-year-old woman, employed as a teacher in Louisiana, has been apprehended and accused of rape and sexual battery. The charges stem from allegations that she gave birth to a child fathered by one of her students, with the incidents reportedly occurring approximately two years ago. Morgan Freche, 33, was arrested Tuesday, October 3,  after an investigation led to several warrants being put out for her arrest in Tangipahoa Parish. On September 24, allegations of Freche having become pregnant with the 17-year-old student's baby were reported, Sheriff Daniel Edwards said. Four days later, Freche resigned from her job in the parish's school system at Lorainger High School, without her name being revealed. Mysterious illness breaks out at Eregi Girls School in Kenya as more than 90 students struggle to walk At least 95 students from Eregi Girls Secondary School in Kenya have been hospitalised at various hospitals following an outbreak of a mysterious illness in the school. The students were admitted to Kakamega County General Hospital (KCGH), Iguhu, and Shibwe sub-county hospitals. According to NTV Kenya, the students were admitted after they developed a condition that paralysed their limbs. According to the figures released by the management, 29 students are currently receiving treatment at Iguhu Hospital, 39 at Kakamega Referral Hospital, 31 at Mukumu Mission Hospital, and 14 at Shibwe Hospital. A nurse who sought anonymity said the condition that has led to the students losing sensation in their legs is believed to be electrolyte imbalance. In a regrettable incident, a young man was reportedly set on fire by an enraged mob for allegedly attempting to steal a generator from a new generation church along Atiku Abubakar Road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. A witness, Amb Dignity Usenekong, who narrated the incident said the suspect was caught on Sunday night, October 1, 2023, and macheted by the mob before being set ablaze.    “Burning in this picture is a young man who chose to sacrifice himself today.
